Hey guys, well its been 7 months again since my last message here... To be frank i am quite shocked some still post in the forum... Good news I have this creative idea to boost the site quite a bit and if everything works out that should be in the near future. This post is mainly to say I am still alive... heh.

Hey.. Its been 7 months since I last posted here... The Good news is that the site is still up and running. I was shocked to see that people still visit this site.. Month of May we got over 500 hits. Makes me want to churn out some reviews.. (I just might in a few weeks, classes are ending..). Now for the awesome news is that we have a forum now! For those who remember AL used to have a forum but due to wierd complications (URL died...) we have not had one for almost a year now. It can be located in the main menu. Feel free to post there. What you want to be added, changed, suggestions, anything really.

I have some good news! I have renewed the domain name! What this means is that Anime Lessons is staying up for at least another year! I am still debating as to write new stuff but at least all the current reviews will stay up a bit longer!

Yea.. I know no new updates... Sigh. I was considering closing the site a couple days ago but I'd hate for all my work (as well as others) to go down. Not sure if any of you guys remember but its offically been a year since this site has been up. Amazing eh? Feels like it was such a short time ago we would all be posting our reviews in that one huge ass AN thread. Ah the good old days. So basically I wont take this site down for a little bit longer. Who knows maybe ill come back with a ton of reviews someday (just dont hold your breathe lol). Once again its not so much that I mind writing reviews its just its so time consuming and well.. time consuming heh. Not to mention the already ample review sites out there... Give me a couple of months and ill let you guys know.

Bah, am I a bad webmaster or what? I know I haven't written a single review in such a long time... I am still deciding whether or I really want to start writing reviews again. Its not that I have lost interest in anime (quite the opposite) hell I average 45+ hours weekly (sure that ain't healthy). I have until end of Aug. to decide. I am taking a ton of classes come fall so unsure how I would handle writing reviews (not even sure if anyone bothers coming here still heh). Main reason I am writing this is just to give a heads up that all reviews/banners created by Throughhim413 have been removed upon request. As far as a forum update, I am still debating. I may seriously start a forum based review site rather then the current format. I feel a review forum would be much more benifical then the current format. Only problem is that a real forum that allows huge data transfer and uploads can get pricey. BUT if there is enough of a need for it (meaning i get e-mails saying they would be interested in something like this) who knows, in a few months I could easily set up a forum/review site and present all the reviews that are currently on the site to the forum. You will hear more about this later on.

Well I know no new review yet... The only reason I am posting is to update you guys on the forum. The forum will have a several month downtime because I feel the current layout is not working. I don't know when it will be up but when ever its reay you will see it. As for my reviews you can expect to see a lot of reviews come July 8+ because my online classes have ended by then and I am not working anymore and thus I will have quite a lot of time to write reviews (I hope).

First I really should say I am sorry to all of you who actually visit this site. I know for the past couple of months my reviews have been slow and greatly spaced out. The reason is because for a time being I honestly lost interest in writing reviews. I still watch a lot of anime its just I had forgotten the joy I had by writing reviews. I will begin writing more reviews in the coming weeks I hope you will check often. If you like the review or found it useful please post your input regardless bad or good on the forum. Input is always great! Also I want to thank Throughhim413 for another fantastic banner for the month of June. Sorry guys i put it up a bit late.

Well I bet you all are wondering "where the hell is the review promised this week?!" and I would have to say sadly there is none but there is a good reason. First, my uncle came for 3 days so I was unable to watch that much anime during the night (the time i perfer to write reviews) and also mainly because any free time I have had was used watching Yakitate which is a fantastic series. I am currently on episode 27 and its just simply amazing. I will be writing a review on it when I finish watching all the episodes that are currently out (I believe this number is around 60). It won't be a complete review consider the total episode count is 69 but I will have seen a good amount of the series to produce an acceptable review. That review should be out before as early as friday so look out for it!

Just thought I would fill you guys in whats been happening since my last post. First these past two weeks I have been working quite a lot which have been keeping my busy along with a research project. I am still watching anime daily (I try my best too) but I can only average 4-5 episodes a day currently. Now however, I should be able to watch much more this up coming week because it will be less busy. What does that mean review wise? It means you can expect 1-2 reviews coming up this week. I am currently watching CCS which I may or may not review (simply because it has already been reviewed in feel depth). However, nonetheless I hope to at least get one review done by the end of this week. Another thing, if you guys have not noticed I have not updated the "EoP blog" section of the site in a long time. I will be taking that section down for the time being untill I feel like actually keeping up to date with entries. Well I am off for now, going to watch some anime.

Well just thought i would let you guys know that I have finished my Shakugan no Shana review and it will be up sometime tomorrow. What I am now doing is taking pictures. Also, I have decided that the "reviewers" name should be at the top verses the bottom of the review, so I will begin to slowly change that on all reviews. As for my next review I am unsure what it will be but hopefully will have one done by sometime this week. In the mean time I will try and clean the site up a bit. Thats all for now.

Thought I would just let you guys know whats going on thus far. I know its been a bit since my last review but the reason for this is because I am moving soon and have also just picked up working outside the house for a change (if you care, I am now working at Hallmark). Anyways, what this means is that I have less time to watch anime and even less time to write reviews. I do however hope to get a new review out by Sunday. Review wise expect it to be either Samurai Champoo, This Ugly & Beautiful World or Shakugan no Shana (will be finishing the series within the next 1-2 days.) Other then that nothing much new. I want to remind anyone and everyone who has any suggestions for the site or problems with any of the reviews to please e-mail me. Well time for me to get to bed, school then work tomorrow (joy... but hell work = money = for anime so its all good!)

Well, its been a long time since my last review but I promise i'll have a new review up by this Sunday at the latest. Recently I have been really busy with school, moving, and now I have caught a cold. But through all the hardships there is anime! I have been watching Prince of tennis and just yesterday started on Captain Herlock. My Captain Herlock review should be wrapped up by the end of this week.
